Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Planning Director, coordinates professional planning projects related to the implementation of the Pike County Comprehensive Plan and the Open Space, Greenways and Recreation Plan; provision of technical planning and mapping assistance to Pike County municipalities; facilitation and assistance to municipalities on land use, open space and recreation planning; administration of grant programs/projects; review of subdivision and land development plans and municipal ordinances, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in community, rural, natural resource or recreation planning, or related field; supplemented by three (3) years of related experience.  Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is strongly preferred.  Excellent communication skills, computer and organizational abilities, and public speaking experience is desired.

Salary:  Salary based on experience plus County benefits package. Pike Co. is an EOE.
