Director of Pike County Children & Youth Services

The Pike County Commissioners are seeking a “Director of Children & Youth Services” to supervise and coordinate the activities of the Children & Youth Department and staff; successful applicant will be responsible for managing Federal, State and County funds within established guidelines of eligibility; preparing budgets; preparing monthly reports; maintaining accurate family and provider files; evaluate and monitor contractual agreements to provide necessary services; meets regularly with the County Advisory Board and the County Commissioners to present needs of the program; conduct staff meetings; and attend Court hearings as required. Aging Care Manager

The Pike County Area Agency on Aging is currently accepting applications for an Aging Care Manager 1. This is a full time, professional position with benefits. If you enjoy helping people and advocate for home and community based care, this is the right position for you. This is a civil service position requiring 12 credits of social services or a bachelors degree. Job requires coordinating assigned services as part of consumers plan of care, communicating with home health providers, families and other human services agencies. Computer skills necessary for data entry of consumers care plan management. Some travel required, mainly with county cars. Mileage reimbursement if county cars are not available.
