Magisterial District Judge Schmalzle is accepting applications for the position of Clerk I. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma. Must be able to develop knowledge of all functions, programs, organization and operations of the Magisterial District Judge computer system related to criminal, traffic and non-traffic case entry and maintenance. Must have knowledge of English usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation as used in the magisterial district court offices. Must have the ability to quickly organize workload, establish priorities and complete clerical processing requirements. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with judges, law enforcement personnel, constables, bail bondsmen, defendants, attorneys, and representatives of other offices. Must have the ability to operate typewriting, copying, computing and other office equipment, if required by work assignment.
