In 2009, the Delaware Highlands Conservancy received a grant to assist YMCA Camp Speers-Eljabar in placing a Conservation Easement on Long Swamp.

This property offers Limited Public Access in accordance with the Deed of Conservation Easement, with permission from Camp Speers-Eljabar. Any visitor interested in hiking the public access areas MUST register at the main desk and stay on the trail system identified for public use. Directions: All visitors to the Long Swamp Easement must first sign in at the Main Office on Nichecronk Road. Take Route 739 toward Delaware Township, turning onto Nichecronk Road (by the Post Office) and stay on this road. |
