21st Annual College/Career Fair
The Pike County Workforce Development Agency is planning our 21st Annual College/Career Fair at Delaware Valley High School and Wallenpaupack Area High School for one day. Our goal is to provide information to graduating seniors, interested juniors, sophomores and their parents. Colleges, universities, community colleges, technical schools, various training providers, and representatives from the armed forces are all being invited. It is a great way for you to exhibit the opportunities you have to offer and this is free of charge.
Wallenpaupack Area High School’s College/Career Fair is scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023, 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym. Please arrive by 10:45 a.m. so you have time to set up. Photo ID is needed to enter the main entrance of the high school building.
Delaware Valley High School’s College/Career Fair is scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Auxiliary gymnasium (to the left of the pool entrance). Please arrive by 5:00 p.m. so you have time to set up.

Mission Statement
The Pike County Workforce Development Agency strives to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers. Our approach seeks to build upon the close working relationship already in place between the local partners involved in workforce and economic development. We will work to establish an integrated and unified methodology to meet the needs of employers both locally and regionally and at the same time help to create a well-prepared/trained labor pool. We will continue to enhance the level of services for all our customers, increase accessibility to information, and reduce the barriers and confusion faced by both employers and job seekers.
Career Development
The Pike County Workforce Development Agency is a federally funded county agency operating under the guidelines set forth in the Workforce Investment Act. Our purpose is to bring together regional employers and local job seekers. There are no fees for our services. Individuals needing intensive or training services must meet eligibility guidelines established by the US Department of Labor and The Pocono Counties Workforce Investment Board.
