Learn About Cost-Saving Medicare Benefits

The APPRISE Program and PA Health Law Project are offering a free, confidential conference call about cost-saving Medicare benefits.

Whether you currently receive Medicare benefits, are nearing age 65, or have a family member interested in Medicare, this call will provide information about the Low Income Subsidy Program (Extra Help Program), Medicare Savings Program, preventive benefits under Medicare, Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and PACE Needs Enhancement Tier (PACENET).

Participants will have an opportunity to ask general questions regarding information discussed on the call.

The APPRISE program, of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, offers free Medicare counseling to older Pennsylvanians.

The PA Health Law Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing free legal services to people having trouble getting or keeping health coverage.

The Pike County Area Agency on Aging is a public agency, not-for-profit, senior service agency providing resources and services to Pike County residents 60 years old and above. Its mission is to assist them to remain in their home, safely and to promote their quality of life. The Agency is governed by Pike County Commissioners with the guidance by the Area Agency on Aging's Advisory Council.

The free, confidential conference call on March 5 is funded by the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) to increase awareness of these cost-saving Medicare benefits.
