AAA Holiday Wish List

This holiday season, the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is hoping for Pike County residents to help check off some of its Holiday Wish List items! The AAA Senior Centers are all back open, and volunteers are needed. 

Wish List items include: 

• Artists to share their talents  
• Flea Market frequenters to explore some of our collections  
• Chess Players to contact us 
• Musicians to jam with us 
• Gardening supplies for the Spring Fling  
• Newsletter contributors- Do you write? Know poems? Recipes? Local events? Please share with us via email or stop by and drop them off 
• Phone Call buddies for our Senior Chat program  
• Foodies to provide some interesting recipes and food demos  
• Pet food donations for our March for Meals and Pet assistance program  
• Active folks to sign up for Bingocize, we are taking names for the next class, coming up soon in 2022

The AAA is very thankful for all of the good fortunes of this year and for the dedicated volunteers who provided so many hours to our nutrition services for meal delivery, preparation, and center service as well as our other programs like the PA Medicare Counseling (PA MEDI) and the Health and Wellness leaders. We are thankful for the Pennsylvania Lottery which has continued to fund us at over 60-70%.
