Master Plan Listening Session

The Pike County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) will host a listening session on the Department of Aging’s development of the Master Plan for Older Adults – a 10-year, state-led and stakeholder-driven strategic plan designed to help transform the infrastructure and coordination of services for older Pennsylvanians.

The listening session will take place October 11, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Eastern Pike Senior Center in Matamoras, 506 Avenue Q, Matamoras, PA 18336.

Those interested in attending the listening sessions should RSVP by October 2, 2023, by calling the Pike County Area on Aging at 570-775-5550.

Heating Centers

With cooler weather approaching, the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) would like to inform members of the community that select Pike County Senior Centers will be acting as Heating Centers.

  • Blooming Grove Center: M - F 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Eastern Pike at Matamoras Fire Dept.: Wed. 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. & Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program
The rebate program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians age 65 and older; widows and widowers age 50 and older; and people with disabilities age 18 and older.
