Area Agency on Aging Cooling Centers

With warmer temperatures in the forecast this week, the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) would like to inform members of the community that Pike County Senior Centers will be open to use as Cooling Centers.

Cooling Centers are available at the following Area Agency on Aging Senior Centers:

• Blooming Grove Center: M - F 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Lackawaxen Center: Wed. &Thurs. 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• Eastern Pike at Mat. Fire Dept.: Wed. & Fri 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Bushkill at Saw Creek’s Top of the World Restaurant: Mondays 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Bushkill at Pocono Mtn. Lake Estates: Tues. 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The agency also has a limited supply of fans available for those without access to adequate cooling systems.
