Kinder Morgan Donates $10K to Pike County Emergency Services Initiative Fund (PCESI)

Kinder Morgan Inc. recently contributed $10,000.00 to the Pike County Emergency Services Initiative (PCESI) fund administered through the Greater Pike Community Foundation.

The mission of the PCESI fund is to provide funding to qualified Pike County emergency services agencies and other nonprofit emergency response organizations, including training programs such as the Emergency Medical Training (EMT) course provided at the Pike County Training Center. The fund was established in response to the local EMS crisis by the Commissioners; the Public Safety Department; and founding gifts from the law firm of Weinstein, Zimmerman & Oligher; William Lovejoy; and other generous donors.

Commissioner Osterberg said, “We are grateful to Kinder Morgan for recognizing the importance of having safe and efficient EMS services in the County. This generous donation will help provide scholarships to 14 individuals wishing to become EMT trainees.”

Kinder Morgan is one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. It owns an interest in or operates approximately 82,000 miles of pipelines and more than 140 terminals.
